Happy May 2025 Everyone,
I hope you are doing well and having a great day so far. Welcome to the month of God's Abundant Grace. This month of May, our blog post is based on 1 Thessalonians 5:22-24; it says
1 Thessalonians 5:22-24:
22 reject every kind of evil. 23 May God, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 The one who calls you is faithful and will do it.
Recently, I have been hearing various debates and opinions on boundaries in relationships, such as whether dating or coupling couples should kiss in their relationship.
The answer is NO. Kissing, touching, and cuddling are all wrong. Many people might argue that this is "old-school" dating. If we are going to get married, does it matter?
It matters—everything we do on Earth and in life matters. The trends of society and the world around us, combined with the fact that we live in the flesh, make it hard for many individuals to follow God wholeheartedly in everything they do.
Let us remember the call to honor God in our relationships is not just a suggestion but a commandment that we should strive to follow. 1 Thessalonians 5:22-24 says to flee from all appearances of evil.
Kissing can lead to sexual temptation and sin. The Bible says, in Hebrews 13:4-5 says, "4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. 5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
This verse is a guiding path and instrument in our relationships. Doing things the right way will provoke only God's blessing. Keep God at the center of your life.
Kissing does not build a connection or allow individuals to know they are compatible. If two people are meant to be together and destined by God's Perfect Will, you do not need to engage in sin to build a connection with your partner.
GOD does not desire to join the world's systems to engage in evil. The Bible says that the path to Heaven is narrow, which means only a few will make it. GOD desires that all make it to Heaven, but many will not if the world is still following its ways.
I encourage you to have an open heart for this post and keep Christ wholeheartedly and first.
It is essential and crucial for our eternal in Christ. I want to make Heaven after this Earth, and I want to see you there.
Here are five ways to Honor GOD in Your Relationship:
A. Establish a Bible Reading Plan at the Start of the Year, a Guiding Light for You and Your Partner Throughout the Year. This will keep you both accountable and provide a solid foundation for your relationship. Discuss what you learn each day, and pray for God to make you better individuals.
B. Pray For Each Other: For Your Burdens, Successes, Mistakes, etc.
C. Gift Each Other What The Other Loves: You can show love to each other through giving gifts rather than physical contact.
D. Discuss Your Purpose in Life and How They Align
E. Create A Mission, Vision, and Agenda for Your Marriage to Advance GOD's Kingdom on the Earth Together.
Let's keep putting God first. It shall be well. I pray that May 2025 will be a life-changing month. All things work together for your good in the name of Jesus Christ.
Thank you so much for reading; God Bless You Greatly. Remember to like, comment, share, and subscribe. If you are reading and do not believe in God, I encourage you to have an open heart and mind and give God a chance to prove himself. Please say this prayer: "Heavenly Father, I am a sinner, and I come to you to ask you to forgive me for my terrible sins. Thank you for dying for my sins and bearing the shame on that Cross so I may have eternal life. Today, I confess with my mouth that I have sinned against you, and believe with my whole heart that Jesus is Lord, and God raised Him from the dead on the third day. He is seated on the Heavenly throne and intercedes on my behalf. I give you my heart, soul, and life and pray that I will obey thy Word. In the precious name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen." This prayer is a personal declaration of faith and a request for forgiveness and acceptance into the family of believers.
If you just said that prayer, welcome to the family of believers. Congratulations!! Heaven rejoiced; God is so glad and happy to have you in his family. I will be praying for you and your walk with God. The following steps in this new chapter in your life include:
