Your 20s

Updated: Jan 12

Happy Friday Ladies,

I hope you are doing well and having a great day so far. How has 2022 been for you so far? For me, it has been perfect. Each month of this year has been blessed and fulfilled with blessings and miracles, and I hope you can say the same. Comment down below on how the year has been for you.

The other day, I felt inspired to write a post on a female's 20s. There are ten points I will be discussing. I hope this blesses you.

Point 1: Strengthen Your Relationship With GOD. I read a book earlier this year called,

"Chayil: Secrets Of A Virtuous Woman," and the central and number one secret of this woman was that her relationship with GOD was the source of her success. Her relationship with GOD made her life a success. A successful life is different from a perfect life. Everything is perfect in an ideal life, but GOD ordains a successful life.

Point 2: Focus on Your Family: Build great relationships with your parents. Ephesians 6:1-3 says, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 "Honor your father and mother"—which is the first commandment with a promise. 3 "so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth." One of your priorities in your 20s should be focusing on your relationships with your family. Family is Everything; we must keep it one of our top priorities.

Point 3: Self Development: Read More Books, Exercise, Listen to Podcasts, etc. I began reading more this year, and I enjoy reading. I discovered it calms me down and clears my head. My internal spirit is always calm. I love to gain knowledge and increase and improve my thinking.

- Physical Exercise: Working out regularly is crucial to living a healthy life. I once heard that health is wealth, and honestly, it truly is. I work out regularly to keep fit and stay mentally alert.

- Listen to Podcasts: Gaining knowledge through the experiences of others is very important. It does not only improve our way of thinking, but it enhances our way of life. When we are open to new ideas, we become better people in every aspect of life.

Point 3: Stay Hydrated- Drink at least 2 liters of water each day. Water is an essential part of life, and it has a lot of benefits. From clean skin, washes out internal toxins, etc. One of the ways I keep hydrated throughout the day is by holding my water bottle throughout the day, and being intentional about staying hydrated.

Point 4: Save and Invest Your Money Wisely: One of the pressures I have been facing recently is traveling and exploring the world based on what I see on social media. The pressure is there whether it is traveling for spring break or the summer. But despite the pressure, saving for the future is the most important thing right now.

Point 5: Learn New Skills: Over the past two years, I have discovered skills within me that I never thought I had. I have become a food blogger and podcaster in the past two years. The gifts and talents that GOD has put in are unique to us, and it is just a little or big push to yield it forth.

Point 6: Evolve- Get Educated: Getting educated is not just academic but also intellectual. In one of the books I read recently called Manual: How Men Think. One of the main points was men are not emotional; they need women who think intellectually.

Point 7: Go After Your Goals and Dreams: Your dreams matter. Your dreams are important. The goals and dreams that align with GOD's are the best—Chase after your dreams. Set Goals For Yourself, Work Towards and Live the Rest to GOD.

Point 8: Set Your Priorities Straight: Do not chase after love and relationships. Proverbs 18:22 says, "He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord." The Bible does not say a man who finds a woman finds a good thing and receives favor from the Lord; it says a wife. Create yourself, Develop yourself, and Form yourself into a WIFE. Aim to be the best version of yourself for yourself. Life is not about MARRIAGE; it is about PURPOSE. Find and fulfill your purpose before you think about love and marriage.

Point 9: Make the Most of Your Life: Reduce the time you spend on the screen, on social media, and on things that are not benefitting your life. Invest your time in things that truly matter. The things that matter most in life.

Have a great rest of your day and weekend ❤️.
